Welcome to our history website.  On this website details of the Canadian Homefront in World War One are displayed.

The first World War was the first modern industrialized war. It was the organization of whole countries, their people and products gathered together to provide for and fight in the war. The "Homefront" was the term used to describe the part of the war which was not actively involved in fighting, but was vital to it. By keeping the Homefront running smoothly, they ensured a steady supply of essential war materials to the front!
